This journal is bound in black goat skin, which is thinner and stronger than many other leathers. It is closed by hand-cut thongs from the same skin which have been woven into the binding. This book has been a great favourite in the workshop! Plain, acid free paper.

The leather on this journal has that perfect used look and feel. The natural wax is all that it needs, and the generous cut wraps the leather around the pages to protect your work. The surface will scuff, giving it a rustic, aged look. Plain paper.

A new one for us! Classic design. Antique finished goat skin to the spine with blue marble to the rest of the covers. On strong board, with green and white headbands and a silver/grey ribbon. This book has plain endpapers as the exterior has the colour. Black motif to spine. Plain paper.

Black close-cut goat skin envelope binding
Goat skin is thinner but also stronger than a lot of leathers we use, making this a beautifully slim-line book, perfect for chucking in a bag. The leather has been cut as close to the pages as possible to keep it as compact as possible, so this book has no headbands. The envelope binding is secured by a matching strap and brass rivet. Plain paper.
